Recently, 5 people in Gurugram were brutally murdered by an alleged retired army man, News18 reported. The 5 people included 2 women, 2 kids and 1 man. The incident was reported from Gurugram’s Rajendra Park. Allegedly, the retired army man was also the home owner and the 5 people above mentioned lived on rent in his property.
Accused Suspected Daughter-in-Law & Tenet Having Illicit Affair
Reportedly, the accused is Rao Rai Singh who is served in the army and is a well-known social worker in the area where the crime was committed. Meanwhile, one of the accused man, Krishna Tiwari, worked in a private bank before his life was snatched. Allegedly, the landlord Rao Rai suspected an illicit affair between his daughter-in-law and his tenant.
Accused Goes to Police, Surrenders and Gives Account of Crime
After committing the murder, the accused took to the police himself and gave an account of the incident while surrendering. Amarujala reported that Gurugram Deputy Commissioner of the Police Deepak Saharan told the media that the accused killed the victims by sharp objects.
On the man’s account and his eccentric act of taking to the law, the police have currently taken him to custody and has initiated the investigation.
32-year-old Woman Found Dead in Hotel Room
Earlier last week, a 32-year-old woman was found dead in a hotel in Haryana. The woman was found stabbed to dead in a room in her hotel room. The incident was reported from a Atul Kataria Chowk, Gurugram. Allegedly the victim was sharing a room with a man, who is the primary suspect of the crime.
After the crime was reported, the husband of the victim took to the police and raised a complaint. On the raised complaint, the police have registered a murder case under the Section 302 (Punishment for murder) of the Indian Penal Code. The case was registered at the Gurugram, Sector 14 police station.
Victim Worked as Sex Worker, Went to Hotel with Auto Driver Friend
The husband is identified by reports as Mohammad Shahid who in his complaint claimed that his wife worked as a sex-worker. According to complainant, his wife left his home with a friend called Rinku, who works as an autorickshaw driver. Rinku later called Shahid and informed that his wife was killed.
When Shahid rushed to the place of crime, he found the body of her deceased wife in a pool of blood in the hotel room. Reportedly, the hotel staff told the husband of the now-deceased wife, that she was dropped to the hotel by Rinku.
Later, Rinku drove off while the woman met another man called Sachin. The duo later went on to book a room.

Hours after the incident, new updates have emerged in the case. According to reports, not 5 but 4 people died in the incident while 1 has been reported injured. Accused Rao Raj Singh’s daughter-in-law Surabhi Tiwari, along with accused’s tenant Anamika Tiwari and Krishna Tiwari, have been identified as dead. Meanwhile, one of Krishna and Anamika’s daughters is also reported dead while other is in the hospital.
