Swiftly, the robbers loaded the bags into the waiting auto-rickshaw, which bore a Rajkot registration. With a burst of speed, the culprits vanished into the night, leaving Vanzara and Chouhan stunned.
During investigation, it was revealed that the robbery had been orchestrated by a Rajkot hair trader, who had initially sold the hair consignment to Vanzara. The police are meanwhile on the lookout for other accused.

The darkness of the night provided the perfect cover for a group of nefarious individuals plotting their audacious scheme on the outskirts of Rajkot city. Little did Pushpendra Singh Vanzara, a young and unsuspecting hair trader, know that this fateful night would soon end in a shocking robbery.
It was late Tuesday evening when Vanzara and his companion, Nageshwar Chouhan, set out on their journey back home. Laden with a treasure of 40 kilograms of exquisite women’s fallen hair, worth a staggering Rs 2.08 lakh, their bike sped through the desolate roads.

Accused in Auto Allege Reckless Driving
Out of nowhere, three men on an unassuming auto-rickshaw confronted Nageshwar, accusing them of reckless driving. As Nageshwar halted the bike, two other men on motorcycles showed up, as if on cue.
The bike-rider asked his associates in the autorickshaw to seize the bags containing the hair. The accused group swiftly loaded their autorickshaw with the bags of hair and vanished into the night.

Complaint Registered, Investigation Ensues
Determined to seek justice, Vanzara promptly contacted the police, providing them with vital information, including the auto-rickshaw’s registration number. The authorities acted swiftly, apprehending the five robbers within hours and recovering the stolen hair. However, the investigation took an unexpected twist.
Plot Twist in ‘Hair-Raising’ Robbery
As per MG Vasava, police inspector with the Gandigram police, a hair trader in Rajkot who had sold the hair to Pushpendra Singh Vanzara, himself had sketched the plan to rob Vanzara.
This deceitful individual had devised a plan, offering a hefty sum of Rs 50,000 to one of the robbers to execute the theft and deliver the hair back to him.
“The Rajkot trader promised Rs 50,000 to the man if he managed to rob the Morbi trader of the hair consignment and deliver it to him. The man, in turn, engaged four other persons, telling them they will share contract money among them,” MG Vasava was quoted saying, in an Indian Express report.
