In a stunning turn of events, a Bhopal-based engineer, identified as Hema Meena, was raided recently. While Hema is employed with a measly monthly salary of Rs 30,000 a month, properties under her name, worth Rs 7 crore have been taken under scrutiny.

The Special Police Establishment (SPE) Lokayukta Bhopal executed a daring raid on the house of a lowly contractual engineer, that can leave any hard-working and honest salaried individual in awe. But this was just the tip of the iceberg in her web of deceit. The engineer, it is alleged, went on a relentless spree of property acquisition. Multiple properties across Bhopal, Raisen, and Vidisha were added to her burgeoning empire.
