In an incident that can be dubbed as ‘Hilton Hotel Horror’, a guest received the shock of his life when he woke up to strange and alarming feeling of his toes being attended to in a strange way. When the guest opened his eyes in annoyance, he was shocked to wake up to the hotel’s manager allegedly sucking his toes in the bed!
Hotels are meant to be a home away from home, a safe haven for weary travelers to rest their heads and recharge their batteries. But for one man staying at the Hilton hotel in Tennessee, his beauty sleep turned into a nightmare.
According to reports, the guest was fast asleep, blissfully unaware of the danger lurking in the shadows. That is, until he woke up to a strange sensation on his toes. To his horror, he saw the night manager of the hotel, David Neal, kneeling beside his bed and going to town on his toes like they were a delicious snack.
Needless to say, the guest was not amused. He immediately confronted Neal, who claimed he was only trying to make sure everything was alright. However, the guest knew better than to fall for that ridiculous excuse. He promptly reported the incident to the police, who arrested Neal.
The Facts of the Matter
They say that good hospitality is all about going above and beyond to make your guests feel welcome. But for one night manager at a hotel in Tennessee, his definition of “above and beyond” was a little different than most.
Instead of a friendly smile or a warm welcome, he allegedly snuck into a guest’s room in the middle of the night and started sucking on the poor man’s toes!

“Went into fact-finding mode”
“I instantly jumped up and was screaming. Went into sort of fact-finding mode. Who are you? Why are you in my room? What are you doing here? It was almost like a dream, a sort of nightmare. It just didn’t make sense. Why is this person touching me?”, the guest was quoted saying.
Now, one must not be judgmental of someone’s inclinations, but there’s a time and a place for everything. And the middle of the night in a hotel room is definitely not the time or the place for a surprise foot massage. Needless to say, the guest was not impressed, and he promptly reported the incident to the police.

Night Manager Gives Flimsy Excuse
The night manager, identified as David Neal, claimed that he had only entered the room because he smelled smoke and wanted to make sure the guest was safe. But let’s be real, if you’re a night manager and you smell smoke, the first thing you should do is call the fire department, not start nibbling on someone’s toes.

Cops Confirm Manager Cloned Room Key
According to police, Neal used his technical know-how to clone the guest’s room key and sneak in around 5am, catching the guest completely off guard. The guest quickly recognised Neal as the same hotel employee who had been in his room the day before to fix a faulty TV.
In any case, Neal’s excuse didn’t fly with the police, who arrested him on charges of aggravated burglary and assault. He is currently serving in jail, and has a bail of Rs 22 lakhs bond.
