Interiors Get a Modern Cabin Theme
Inside, the cabin follows a dual-tone black and grey theme. The leather seats have made way for new semi-leatherette upholstery. However, door trims continue to get a soft-touch finish. An electric sunroof, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and Bose speakers provide premium comforts inside.
The i20 also offers conveniences like fast USB C-type charging, wireless phone charging, a digital driver display, and an air purifier. The hatchback provides over 60 connected car features that can be controlled via voice commands.

Powertrain Options Streamlined
The refreshed i20 is powered solely by a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed CVT automatic gearbox. The turbo-petrol motor has been discontinued. The 1.2-liter motor generates 83hp and 115Nm of peak torque.
Loaded with Safety Equipment
On the safety front, the new i20 offers segment-leading equipment like 6 airbags, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, and ISOFIX child seat anchors as standard across variants. The range-topping trims additionally provide features like auto headlamps, rear parking sensors, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
Attractively Priced
Hyundai has priced the refreshed i20 quite attractively starting at ₹6.99 lakhs for the base Era variant. The top-spec Asta trim with the CVT gearbox is the most expensive one priced at ₹11.01 lakhs (ex-showroom). Overall, the refreshed i20 seems well-packaged to appeal to premium hatchback buyers in India.
