In a fascinating development from the world of automobile, Hyundai unveiled how Creta 2022 will look as both exterior & interior looks were revealed by the company on Twitter. The Hyundai 2022 Creta Facelift is expected to be launched sometime next year with the international debut coming as early as next month.

The refreshed iteration of the Creta is expected to make the car look bolder & more muscular from the outside and sophisticated from the inside. After gaining a solid footing in the luxe-hatchback market with i20 and i20 Sport, Hyundai strengthened its position in the SUV category with the Creta after it was unveiled in 2015.

In the last decade or so, South-Korean automobile giant has done something that most manufacturers dream to. They were able to create a need for their cars in a country where Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors were already giants. In comparison, Renault, Nissan and Volkswagen has been fighting an uphill struggle for relevance.

Further, Hyundai’s mid-ranger SUV Creta has been the company’s bestselling SUV in 2021. In May 2020, the company sold as many as 3.212 units of Creta. However, the sales figure grew exponentially in May 2021 where the company sold 7,527 units – outselling every other car in the same category.

With its immense popularity, the company is looking to unveil the face-lift model of Creta in 2022.

The Facts of the Matter

Automobile manufacturer Hyundai is all set to reveal the facelifted variant of Creta SUV at the upcoming auto show to be held at Indonesia. The Indonesia Auto Show is scheduled to be taking place on November. While fans are keenly expecting what concept car the company would tease, they are already spoiled by the new sketches of Creta 2022.

Confirmed Designed Sketches Revealed by Hyundai

Recently, Hyundai Indonesia released some confirmed design sketches of the Creta, unveiling both the design of the interior as well as the exterior. As anticipated, the 2022 facelift Creta will feature a Tucson-inspired design on the hood and grill. The interior will feature a new cabin and all of this will be powered by engine which will have 3 variants for buyers.

The facelift will feature a Tucson inspired front grille-hood combination, LED daytime running lights, an all-new bonnet and sporty split tail lamps.

Hyundai Creta Facelift Exterior and Design

Creta Facelift will feature a parametric jewel grille. The South Korean automobile giant has decided to incorporate its own ‘Parametric Dynamics’ design language. This is the same design language that was featured in Hyundai Elantra. Interestingly enough, the sketches make the car to appear as if the DRLS will be integrated into the front grille.

The front of the car also gives an appearance that the car will feature sharp boomerang shaped taillights.

Hyundai Creta Facelift Interior and Features

Take a peek inside, and one would see a cabin that Hyundai is widely famous for. It’s a cabin that disarms you by not being flashy, while still incorporating every necessary and special element. The SUV-maker has promised that Creta 2022 will feature the company’s advanced, class-apart multimedia and safety features inside cabin.

The sketch released by the company promises the SUV to feature the much-standardized infotainment system operated on the large touchscreen. Expect the system to come with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support as most mid-range and high-end SUVs feature. Interestingly, Hyundai has gone with vertical AC vents rather than horizontal ones.
