The popular singing show Indian Idol 12, which aired in November 2020, has concluded, with Uttarakhand’s Pawandeep Rajan holding the winner’s trophy.
The ‘greatest grand finale,’ which commenced at 12 p.m. on Independence Day. Judges Himesh Reshammiya, Anu Malik, and Sonu Kakkar presented the stunning trophy, a car, and a cheque for Rs 25 lakh to winner Pawandeep.

The closing episode included Javed Ali, Sukhwinder Singh, Raghav Sachar, Mika Singh, Sadhana Sargam, Annu Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, and Kiara Advani. The finale also showcased individual performances by Kumar Sanu, Sonu Kakkar, and Alka Yagnik. Alka paid tribute to Lata Mangeshkar and mentioned that she always follows Indian Idol.
Singer Javed Ali, who appeared as a judge on the prior editions of Indian Idol, showed up on the finale. He charmed his listeners with songs like Swadesh hai Mera and Vande Mataram.

Pawandeep Rajan expressed gratitude to the people for voting him
Pawandeep stated about his experience on the show, “Indian Idol is a stage that offers a lot of honor to artists, and the amount of attention it brings you is unparalleled.” We had to sing a lot of songs throughout the show, and we had the top judges and guests cheer us out. The purpose I headed to the stage was not my desire to win, but rather my eagerness to learn. And I’m grateful that after all these months of effort on this show, we’re now set to playback.”
After winning the singing reality series, he became a social media sensation. Rajan expressed gratitude to the people for voting for him on the finale segment of ‘Indian Idol 2020.’
