The team of the hit show Indian Idol season 12 has shifted their shooting location to Daman, because of the on-going curfew like situations in Mumbai. All the shootings have been restricted. Indian Idol team decided to move to Daman for a while, till things get back to normal.

Neha Kakkar and the other two judges Vishal Dadlani and Himesh Reshammiya chose to stay in Mumbai when the whole show team moved to Daman. Everyone who is related with Indian Idol 12 and who have travelled to Daman, are being made to live in a strict bio bubble that allows them to only travel to their shoot location from where they are living. Strict COVID-19 protocols are being followed and no one is allowed to move out of their hotel rooms or wander freely on the sets.

Composer-singer Vishal Dadlani, through his social media, addressed the current situation on Indian Idol 12. He assured fans that all was well but given he is living with his parents currently; he did not want to risk them by stepping outside. He also said that it wasn’t possible for him to stay in Daman for Indian Idol shoot.

He said that, “A flood of messages yesterday, asking why I wasn’t on @indianidol2021 and whether I’m in good health. 1. I’m perfectly fine & isolating as we should all be. Helping others as best I can from here, working out and waiting for this storm to pass. 2. My parents are currently living with me, so to step outside and come back might put them at risk. If I went to Daman (where Idol is shooting in a tight bio-bubble), I’d have to stay in Daman itself, which I can’t do.”
