An argument over pet dogs turned deadly in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, as a man fired shots at his neighbors, resulting in two fatalities and injuring six others. The alleged shooter, Rajpal Rajawat, is identified as a security guard for a bank, according to PTI.
The distressing event happened in the Khajrana police station area’s Krishna Bagh colony at around 10 pm on Thursday.

Late Thursday night in Indore, a security guard opened fire amid a dispute about dog walking, which resulted in the death of his brother-in-law. Additionally, a woman and five others were wounded. The concerned officers and police force arrived promptly post-information about the altercation.
The guard discharged three shots from his 312 bore gun. Among those injured were families who had stepped out of their houses due to the commotion and firing. The police have apprehended the alleged perpetrator, his son, and a relative while also seizing the gun.
Additional DCP Amarendra Singh relayed that this incident took place in the Krishnabagh Colony, Khajrana. Local resident Rajpal Singh Rajawat wielded his licensed gun during the incident. Vimal and his brother-in-law, Rahul Verma, succumbed to their gunshot wounds. Six others, including Rahul’s wife Jyoti and locals Lalit Godse, Kamal Khede, and Mohit Goyal, were injured. They were promptly transported to MY Hospital for nighttime medical treatment.
