In a horrific incident reported from Indore, a group of women brutally thrashed a young female Domino’s Pizza employee, with the video of the brutal assault gone viral on social media. The purported video shows the group of young women assaulting another girl, dressed in Domino’s uniform. The accused women can be seen raining punches, slaps on the victim, who can be seen crying in agony.

The victim also tried to warn the accused women that she would take to the police and report about the matter. To this the gang of accused women continued with their assault and answered, “Go and complain”. According to a Times Now report, the group of young women launched the assault on the victim for allegedly staring at them.

The video of the horrific assault was taken by a passerby. After the video was shared on social media and spread like wildfire, the Indore police took cognizance of the matter. Further, the victim also filed a complaint against the four women at the local police station. So far, the accused in the matter have not been identified or arrested.

Earlier in March this year, four minor girls stabbed a man at café and had the victim thrashed by their friend. The incident occurred on March 8, 2022, widely celebrated as Mother’s Day.

The Facts of the Matter

In the recent times, several incidents of a person, or a group of persons, assaulting someone in broad daylight have emerged. There are some common threads in such incidents. Spectators of the assault turn into mute spectators, a video is shared on social media that triggers outrage, and justice is served days, and often fortnights after the incident.

Gang of Women Assault Female Domino’s Staffer

Recently, a similar incident was reported from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, where a bunch of young women brutally assaulted a young female Domino’s Pizza employee in broad daylight.

A purported video is making rounds of social media which shows a young female Dominos employee being beaten up on the streets in broad daylight by four women.

What Did the Video Show? (Reader’s Discretion Advised)

While one woman had her face covered with a scarf to protect her identity, other three women, with their faces completely visible, rained down punches and slaps on the victim without any consequences. One of the accused women was also carrying a stick and was repeatedly hitting the victim on her back with the same.

Throughout the video, the girl can be seen crying and wincing in pain. At one point, she fells on the road and the accused women drag her by her hair. At one point the victim tries to stand up to the accused women and says she will take to the police. However, one of the accused women mocks her by saying, “Go file a complaint”.

It is only after the girl rushes into the nearby residence that she is saved.

After the video started making rounds of social media, the Indore police took cognizance of the matter. The victim, identified as Nandini Yadav, also took to the police and filed a complaint against the accused women.

Accused Women Part of Gang

While the police are yet to identify the gang of girls, it’s being reported in local media that the accused women are part of local gang and the video of the alleged assault was shared on the social media by the gang itself.

It should be noted that a similar incident was reported from Indore earlier on March. On March 8, 2022, a day that was celebrated across the world as Mother’s Day, 4 minor girls stabbed a man at a café, and allegedly had him beaten up by their friend.
