A mobile application development startup, Verve Logic recently made the news by offering its employees a paid holiday to binge on their favourite Netflix show – Money Heist.

It’s a news that would make employees across the nation roll their eyes in envy, and CEOs to introspect about their culture. The company recently shared a memo to its employees where it said that they would get a holiday on September three so that they can binge the final season of popular Netflix drama ‘Money Heist’.

More About the ‘Netflix and Chill Holiday’

The Jaipur based company is calling the holiday as ‘Netflix and Chill Holiday’. Taking a witty approach while announcing, the company said that it wanted to do away with a slew of their employees not showing up or sending the company leave applications with fake reasons.

“We have taken this initiative not just to save an attack on our emails with false leaves, see mass bunks and numbers being switched off but because we know sometimes ‘Moments of Chill be the Best Pills for Energy at Work,” the company’s memo read.

The memo soon went viral all over the internet with Twitteratis applauding the creativity and initiative taken by the Jaipur based company.

Major news platform covered the story and further, Netflix itself shared the company’s memo on Twitter, adding fuel to the viral fire.

Taking to Twitter, Netflix India’s official handle tweeted, “We had our ‘bank work’ excuse ready for our boss but this is fantastic!”
