Kangana Ranaut, one of the finest and the most hardworking actresses of our bollywood industry. She has a few movies in her bag as of now which is keeping her busy these days. She has been juggling between shoots due to lockdown and therefore has gone through major physical transformation for her upcoming films. 

Kangana has recently announced Dhaakad and is also working on a patriotic film, Tejas, which is directed by Sarvesh Mewara and the producer of the movie is Ronnie Screwvala. She has also been shooting for Thalaivi which just got wrapped a few months back. For this movie Kangana gained some 20 kgs to look character appropriate.   

Kangana’s fitness trainer, Yogesh Bhateja, shared some insights about Kangana’s upcoming movie “Tejas” look. According to him, the training sessions and her transformation is going to give the best transformation of Kangana till date. He said she has lost a lot of weight, she has started to gain her muscles back. He added that this is an extreme transformation, in a  sculptured form. He further said that Kangana is super supportive and training her felt like I am training an athlete. She is quite active, strong, focused and determined.

Kangana expressed her feelings last year, when Tejas was announced.  She said “Tejas is a thrilling story where I have the honour of playing an air force pilot. I feel privileged to be a part of such a film that celebrates these courageous men and women in uniform who make enormous sacrifice in the line of duty every single day. Our movie celebrates the armed forces and its heroes… Eager to take this journey with Sarvesh and Ronnie.”

The director, Sarvesh, has previously shared the plot of the movie and also the reason behind why he casted Kangana for the role. He said, “My film is a mirroring of the present sentiments in our country. We celebrate our armed forces and I hope to further induce a spirit of patriotism and nationalism through my storytelling. Kangana is a strong woman with a voice that echoes with the youth of this nation and I cannot wait to begin shooting with Kangana.”

When asked whether Tejas is a sequel to URI: The Surgical Strike, the Producer, Ronnie Screwvala said that “We wanted to make a film based upon the army so Uri happened. Tejas is not a sequel to Uri, because that was based on a true story and this isn’t. But it is on the same lines and on the same scale.”
