Karan Mehra, a loved TV icon who plays the perfect husband in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. The actor was arrested by Mumbai Police recently for allegedly assaulting her wife. Later, both the husband and wife threw serious allegations against each other. While Mehra said that Rawal is ‘bipolar’ and playing the ‘bechari card’, Rawal said that Mehra was a domestic abuser who was also having an extra marital affair.

Recently, several news platforms have gotten their hands on an old video of Rawal and Mehra in which both the couple are seen engaged in a seemingly light hearted banter. While Nisha can be seen excitedly talking about what content the couple should post during the lockdown.
“How about we do something on relationships because during the lockdown obviously the chemistry between people changes?” Nisha asks excitedly while Karan can be seen disinterestedly trying to sleep.
To this Karan Mehra replies, “Bohot zyada, log ek doosre ko maarne ke liye aa gaye hai (That’s true, people are just hitting each other now).” Although Nisha’s reply to this cannot be heard completely as she is whispering, one can clearly hear her saying, “Ye aadmi mujhe roz pitai- (this man hits regularly)” before the video gets cut.

While most viewers commented how cute the couple looked, news platforms currently are alleging how the video shows the true side of Karan Mehra. Platforms are also alleging that the video was a foreshadowing to what was to come and how things were not the best between the couple.

Amidst the allegation fueled row between Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal, an allegation by Rawal led to Karan Mehra and co-star Himanshi Parashar change their Instagram privacy settings. It all started when Rawal made another allegation on Karan. According to Rawal, Mehra cheated on her with a woman.
Amid the allegations, a picture of Mehra and his co-star from Mawaan Thandiyan Chawan, Himanshi Parashar has been making the rounds of social media. Moreover, an Instagram chat on comments between Parashar and Mehra has left netizen’s guessing on the duo’s status.

In a relatively old post, Himanshi shared a video reel and wrote, “Karan says that i’m a down to earth person @realkaranmehra i knw it’s lame. #bts @maavanthandianchaavan @zeepunjabi_off.”
To this, Mehra replied, “Itna bhi nahi girna chahiye ki aap zameen pe aa jao (one shouldn’t fall so low that they hit the ground)”. To this, Himanshi replied, “apke liye hum kahi bhi gir jaynge karan ji (For you Karan ji, I can fall anywhere)”.
Although both Mehra and Parashar have been silent about the photos that have gone viral, the duo have turned off the comments on their Instagram posts. Meanwhile, Nisha Rawal, who alleged that Mehra has had an extramarital affair, has comments on, on her Instagram feed.
