Lara Dutta’s look from Bell Bottom has drawn the interest of fans. In the film’s teaser, Lara seems unidentifiable as the character of Indira Gandhi. The film, which stars Akshay Kumar as a RAW official, will be released on August 19. Lara Dutta is portraying late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the 1980s spy tale.

The paparazzi were scheduled to witness the Bell Bottom trailer unveiling on Tuesday were in a struggle to identify the role portrayed by Lara Dutta.


The hottest excitement in Bollywood is Akshay Kumar’s newest film Bell Bottom, which is soon to be premiered in theaters on August 19. Viewers and celebrities are rigorously circulating the teaser for the Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, and Lara Dutta flick. Akshay Kumar headed to Delhi with his Bell Bottom squad, which starred Lara Dutta and Vaani Kapoor, to uncover the film’s teaser. The actors were joined by filmmakers Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh.

Bell Bottom Teaser

Bell Bottom is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani and directed by Ranjit M Tewari.

The preview for the movie, which commences with a disclaimer, starts in 1984 with an Indian plane been abducted and all of its passengers held kidnapped. In the later sequence, then-Prime Minister Indira Gandhi is showcased conversing with her advisors about a plan of action to the dilemma.

She is then reintroduced to Kumar’s role, a RAW specialist designated as ‘Bell Bottom.’ The remaining of the teaser centers on his character’s confidential mission.

Netizen’s Responds to Lara Dutta’s Bell Bottom Look

On August 3, Akshay Kumar unveiled the awaited teaser for Bell Bottom. On August 19, the film is aired in theaters. Whereas the trailer has earned a favorable response, what has sparked the interest of netizens is Lara Dutta’s portrayal of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

The teaser grabbed considerable interest from netizens. One person wrote-

“Just…wow! Offer the #bellbottom make-up artist a national award quickly. I’m sure you can’t predict who is representing Indira Gandhi in Bollywood. I really liked the #BellBottomTrailer… I can’t wait for the picture to come out, particularly after seeing #LaraDutt’s (sic) portrayal.”

Another netizen applauded the film’s promo.

“If You Spot Me in the Teaser, I Will Take Your Family Free to the Movie”

During the press conference following the picture’s release, Dutta was questioned about the character she represents in the film. The actor reportedly urged members of the media to predict the role. “If anyone is willing to identify, I will carry all of their family free to the movies,” she offered.

After much questioning, even from Kumar, Dutta concluded, “So you possibly did spot me in the teaser.” I’m enjoying Mrs. Indira Gandhi. That’s me.

She added, although this is a wonderful job if you’re impersonating someone who is a prominent politician like her. It was tricky to replicate the character’s body posture perfectly.

I had a great time. There was a huge amount of research and evaluation that went into it. Nonetheless, it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for which she is extremely thankful.

It’s Already Been 2 Years Since I Watched Anything on Big Screen: Akshay Kumar

On the occasion of the trailer’s release, Kumar advised audiences to exercise extreme caution in terms of protecting themselves.

“It’s already been 2 years since I’ve witnessed anything on the big screen. We’ve actually been following concerns on television. Dining at a restaurant is a totally unique experience. How long will you continue getting home supply?”

He urged, mentioning to the films that pursued a digital premiere in the aftermath of the pandemic’s multiplex suspension.
