Background

“Tu Jaanta Nahi Mera Baap Kaun Hai”, is a phrase stereotyped where a person uses their influence to assert their dominance. While this phrase is generally used in memes or jokes in reference to men from Delhi, men wielding influence are found everywhere in India.

Recently, a cop in Lucknow was thrashed and was told that he would be scrapped off his uniform by men who claimed to hold influence. However, justice prevailed and the men were later held for assaulting the cop during service, and for criminal intimidation.
