In a miraculous escape caught on video, a family of four, including a baby, survived a terrifying car crash as a car overturned in Kozhikode district. The incident occurred on the Koyilandy-Edavanna state highway, which is known for being a dangerous road. The CCTV surfacing in the aftermath of the accident showed that the incident took place sometime around 6.15 pm recently.
CCTV footage surfacing on social media showed the speeding car overturning, and a woman passenger was seen hanging out of the car. There were three other passengers, including an infant, in the vehicle. Fortunately, all four occupants survived the incident, and only one suffered an injury to her hand. CCTV footage captured the car ramming into a wall before flipping over, and the woman passenger can be seen holding onto the car as it rotates.
According to reports, several bike-borne individuals stopped to help the passengers, and traffic was partially blocked on the Koyilandy-Edavanna state highway.
Earlier last month, a similar tragedy was reported from Kerala where a car caught fire near Kannur district hospital, resulting in the death of a pregnant woman and her husband. The couple, Prijith (35) of Kuttiattur Kararambu and his wife Reesha (26), were on their way to the district hospital from Kuttiattur when the accident occurred.

Recently, a CCTV footage surfaced on social media which showed a family of four making a narrow escape, after a car overturned due to speeding.
The Facts of the Matter
In a shocking incident captured on CCTV, four people, including an infant, had a narrow escape after the car they were travelling in turned turtle near Karumala in Kerala’s Kozhikode district, some reports confirmed earlier on Wednesday.
According to reports, the incident took place on Tuesday evening when the driver lost control of the vehicle due to speeding. The vehicle slammed into a roadside wall before toppling over. The CCTV footage of the accident shows a woman passenger holding on to the car while the car rotated after turning turtle due to the impact.

CCTV Footage Shows Shocking Escape
While reports have stated that an infant was among the occupants of the car at the time of the incident, police are yet to confirm the same. As per a News18 report, the CCTV video of the incident indicated that the incident took place at 6:15 pm. Seconds after the crash, passersby on bikes are seen stopping their vehicles and rushing over to help the passengers.

Woman Passenger Rushed to Hospital
All the passengers survived the incidents and one occupant sustained injuries. The passenger, a native of Punoor, received an injury to her hand and was taken to a private hospital. According to a report by News18 Malayalam, the incident took place on the Koyilandy-Edavanna state highway and traffic was partially blocked after the accident.”
Kerala Couple Charred to Death
The accident comes just a month after a similar incident was reported from Kannur, Kerala, where a pregnant woman and her husband were charred while on their way to hospital. According to reports, the deceased couple, Prijith (35) and his wife Reesha (26), were in the car when it burst into flames, giving them no time to save their lives.
