Over 1.29 Crore Women Benefit from State Government’s Initiative

Bhopal, September 9, 2024: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today announced the transfer of ₹1,574 crore to the accounts of 1.29 crore beneficiaries under the Ladli Behna Yojana. This significant financial aid aims to empower women in the state and improve their overall well-being.

The funds were transferred during a state-level event held in Bina, Sagar district. In addition to the Ladli Behna Yojana benefits, ₹332.43 crore was allocated for social security pensions during the same program.

Since its inception, the Ladli Behna Yojana has disbursed a total of ₹24,499 crore to women in Madhya Pradesh. This substantial amount underscores the state government’s unwavering commitment to social welfare and financial support for women.

The Ladli Behna Yojana is a testament to the government’s efforts to create a more equitable and inclusive society. By providing financial assistance to women, the scheme empowers them to participate fully in economic and social activities, contributing to the overall development of the state.
