A court in Madhya Pradesh recently issued a strange ruling while hearing a case involving a man with two wives. The court instructed him to spend three days with his first wife and the other three days with the second. On Sundays, the man was allowed to choose whichever wife he wanted. The man had married his first wife in 2018 and two years later, during a lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he returned to Haryana without her. Later, he married a woman who worked in his office, which the first wife learned about when she visited his office unannounced. After a dispute between the two wives, the case was taken to the family court, where this perplexing decision was made.
