The Facts of the Matter
For Indian citizens, monkeys hold a contrasting position. Some consider monkeys as auspicious as it’s related to Lord Hanuman, according to Ramayana. Others however are wary of monkeys due to the nuisance that they create. Videos of monkeys creating ruckus have been quite common and normal. However, footages of monkeys chilling are rare.
In one such rare incident, a monkey broke into the Indira Gandhi Airport, New Delhi.
Most fliers and employees who feared the fact that the monkey may create a ruckus were in for a surprise. The monkey was just in for some chill session. It drank some juice, and nibbled on some food.
Mr. Naveen Kadam, who shot the video was quoted saying, “The monkey sat on the counter holding a box of juice. I think the monkey was hungry and was searching for food. The monkey left the lounge soon after. It did not harm anyone.”

What the Video Showed
The video shows a small monkey on top of a bar counter at the VIP lounge of the Indira Gandhi National Airport. The monkey goes on to take the ‘Real’ fruit juice and takes some satisfying gulps. Thankfully, the monkey chose not to indulge into alcohol that was kept just near the juice and food on the bar.
The video also captures excited fliers and employees keeping their distance and recording the video of the whole ordeal.
After it was done indulging in the refreshments, it sprang to the nearby counter where magazines were captured kept in stack. An Indian Express report claimed that the incident took place earlier last week on Friday.

Monkey Wears Face Mask, Struggles with it Like Most People
Earlier this year, another video of a monkey doing monkey things went viral. In the short video, the monkey was captured trying to wear a face mask. Hilariously enough, the monkey struggled with wearing the mask, much like its human brothers and sisters.
