Trigger Warning: Rape

From the 2020 Hathras gangrape case, to the 2021 Badaun gangrape, to the most recent Mysuru gangrape case, each of these cases have a few things in common, it involves a woman being subjected to unprecedented agony, it involves the judgement of justice to come slow, and it involves the rape survivor/victim to be blamed for the heinous crime.

The accused persons went on to badly thrash the friend of the rape survivor as well.

After the police took the statement from the friend of the survivor, a few details became clearer. The incident took place in the Lalithadripura region in Mysuru, a forested area, not often frequented by masses. Reportedly the woman has been identified as not a Karnataka citizen and had come to study in Mysuru.
