Bollywood’s power-couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed a baby girl on Sunday at HN Reliance Hospital, following which Bhatt took to Twitter and issued a statement. Claiming to be “officially bursting with love”, Bhatt called herself and Ranbir “blessed and obsessed parents”. Along with the statement, Bhatt also shared a graphic of a pride of lion comprising of a lioness, lion and presumably their cub.
“And in the best news of our lives :- Our baby is here..and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love – blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!! Love love love Alia and Ranbir,” the statement read.
According to a Pinkvilla report, the couple had arrived at the HN Reliance Hospital, Mumbai, earlier on Sunday morning. Paps also spotted Ranbir Kapoor’s mother Neetu Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan outside the hospital. If reports are to be believed, Alia delivered the baby girl at 12.05 pm.
After Bhatt shared the news on social media, fans, and celebrities came together and wished the new-parents congratulations. VJ and actor Sophie Choudry commented, “Congratulations you guys!! Sending the 3 of you and the rest of the family so much love!! God bless your lil princess.” Comedian Kapil Sharma commented saying, “Congratulations mummy papa 🤗❤️this is the bestest gift of god you guys r blessed with 😇 lots of love to little princess 😍god bless your beautiful family”.

Neetu Kapoor Spotted & Hospital
According to reports, Ranbir and Alia Bhatt had arrived at the HN Reliance Hospital earlier on Sunday morning. They welcomed their baby girl sometime around 12.05 pm at the hospital. Paps who had caught the wind of the development, also spotted Bhatt and Kapoor’s mums Soni Razdan and Neetu Kapoor.
Various Celebrities Congratulate Alia, Ranbir
Various celebrities and fans came together to congratulate the couple on social media. In the comments section of Alia’s post, Shweta Bachchan, Zoya Akhtar, Sonam Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, and a slew of other celebrities wrote heartfelt messages.
Comedian Kapil Sharma, who has hosted both Bhatt and Kapoor on his talk show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, commented, “Congratulations mummy papa 🤗❤️this is the bestest gift of god you guys r blessed with 😇 lots of love to little princess 😍god bless your beautiful family 😇🙏”.

Earlier in June this year, Bhatt had taken to Instagram to announce her pregnancy. “Our baby ….. coming soon,” her caption read with a picture of herself lying on a hospital bed with Ranbir Kapoor, both intently looking at a display with blurred ultrasound.
