February 9 gave the power couple Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy the reason to feel blessed. Anita and her husband Rohit are blessed with their first child- a healthy baby boy. Rohit Reddy shared the good news to people with an “Oh boy” Instagram post. The announcement image had Anita and her husband looking adorable with an “it’s a boy” message on it.
As soon as he posted the image, his post was flooded with congratulatory comments from fans and TV industry peers alike. Hina Khan, Bharati Mittal, Karanvir Bohra, Manish Paul, Ekta Kapoor are the few names amongst many who wished the couples with hearts emoji and congratulatory words.
Last year, Anita Hassanandani and her husband announced their pregnancy on Instagram. Anita had shared an adorable video where she was seen flaunting her baby bump with pride and warmth. The small video was uploaded in June and turned into the talk of the town by getting viral.
Although one can’t see the little one’s face as of yet, thanks to daddy bear Rohit Reddy’s story, one can get a glimpse. In the story, little one can be seen holding on to his father’s index finger tightly.
Throughout her journey of being a newly pregnant woman to being a new mother, Anita has been quite active on Instagram. Recently she dazzled her fans by sharing a few spectacular monochromatic pictures from her pregnancy photoshoot. In the captions, she had written, “When they ask me whennnsss THE dayyyyy? Ek minute poochke batati hun (Give me a minute, I’ll ask and tell!).

On the work front, Anita Hassanandani was first seen on the big screen briefly in the Subhash Ghai directed film Taal which also starred Aishwarya Rai, Akshaye Khanna and Anil Kapoor. Later she gradually started making waves in the large ocean of Indian film industries by starring in Telegu and Tamil films.
However, it was in shows like “Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat”, “Kohi Apna Sa”, “Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Saheli” where she was appreciated for her acting. All of these shows came from Balaji Telefilms’ studio and over the years, Balaji Telefilms head Ekta Kapoor became Anita’s close friend.
Since then she has gone on to star in several popular Indian daily soap operas produced by Balaji Telefilms. Anita was also seen as a contestant in Bigg Boss, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and Nach Baliye where she gained popularity for her persona and style.
Born into a Sindhi family, Anita tied the knot with corporate professional Rohit Reddy in 2013.
