Observing National Cancer Awareness Day, cancer survivor Manisha Koirala shared her survival journey. Cancer is considered one of the most deadly and fatal diseases through which a lot of Bollywood celebrities have gone through and conquered the battle.

Manisha Koirala is one of the actresses who also has conquered this disease. On this year cancer awareness day, Manisha Koirala has shared her cancer survivor journey through her Instagram post. In her Instagram post, she shared some of her pictures during her cancer days and wrote about her survival journey and also through this post she tries to spread awareness regarding the disease and its treatment towards the survivors.

Manisha Koirala Cancer Journey

In the year 2012, Manisha Koirala was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and after the fight for a long, she survived through it and was declared cancer-free by the doctors in the year 2015. To get herself treated she was residing in the US for about six months. After recovering from this deadly disease, she has also launched her autobiography – Healed: How cancer gives me a new life, in the year 2018.

In the year 1991, Manisha Koirala has made her debut in the Bollywood industry with the film Saudagar. During the times she got a huge fan following and also has featured in various blockbusters of Bollywood including 1942: A Love Story, Khamoshi: the musical Bombay, Mann, Akele Ham Akele Tum and many more.

Recently we saw Manisha Koirala in Sanjay Dutt biopic “Sanju” which was released in the year 2018 where she has played the role of veteran actress Nargis. Apart from this, we also saw her in an OTT platform as she has featured herself in one of the famous web series named “Lust stories”
