Oppo announced its flagship Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G and its TWS earphones the Oppo Enco X yesterday and to sweeten the deal for their fans, both these devices are on sale. After OnePlus (which is also a subsidiary of BBK electronics much like Oppo) announced its Republic Day sale, Oppo has also come with its own version of sale to woo Indian buyers. 

Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G Price and Offers  

Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G is the company’s flagship offering. The price of this smartphone is set at Rs. 35,990 for the 8GB+128GB variant. It comes in two colour options: Astral Blue and Starry Black. The phone is on sale starting today through e-commerce channels like Flipkart, Oppo’s own e-store and brick-and-mortar retailers like Croma, Reliance Digital.  

The smartphone is available with a 10% cashback to customers who will use their HDFC Bank or ICICI Bank cards in the first 3 days of the sale. For customers who want to purchase the smartphone through Paytm, a 11% instant cashback is also available. For customers who want to use their Bank of Baroda Credit Card EMI Transaction or Federal Bank Debit Card EMI Transaction, the phone is available with Rs. 2,500 cashback.

Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G Key Features and Specifications 

The latest flagship from Oppo is India’s first smartphone powered by MediaTek Dimensity SoC. The Reno 5 Pro 5G supports a dual 5G sim with download speeds up to 4.7Gbpds. On the front, the Reno 5 Pro 5g has a curved 6.5’ Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and refresh rate up to 90Hz. The phone also packs a respectable 4,350 mAh battery that one can charge using Oppo’s proprietary VOOC charging. For security, the phone comes with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.  

In the camera department, the Reno 5 Pro 5G comes with a quad-camera array on the back much like the new Samsung Galaxy S21. The quad-camera array has a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a mono camera. Turn the phone around and on the front, you’d find a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

The new TWS (Truly Wireless) earphones by Oppo are priced at Rs. 9,990. The earphones come in two variants: black colour and white colour. Oppo Enco X Key Specifications and Features

Unlike most budget TWS earphones the Oppo Enco X comes with dual-driver support. Oppo Enco X packs an 11mm dynamic driver and another 6 mm balanced driver. In terms of features, this offering from Oppo also supports ANC (Active Noise Cancellation). There are 2 modes for ANC – Max ANC and Regular ANC. The Max ANC is helpful in conditions where a lot of noise is needed to be blocked such as when commuting or when at the office, The regular ANC is effective under conditions where a minor noise is needed to be blocked like the humming of an AC, etc.  

The Enco X comes with Bluetooth 5.2 support and has support for LHDC, AAC and SBC codecs. It also supports gesture control so that you can control your music playback with simple touches.  

In the battery department, Oppo claims the Enco X can last up to 4-hours on a single charge with ANC turned on and volume at 50%. With ANC completely turned off, the TWS Enco X are claimed to last for 5.5 hours. The charging case adds the tally up to 20 hours and 25 hours respectively.
