After weeks of rumours and developments, the Indian masses were introduced to the PM Modi Cabinet 2.0. The full list of ministers after the cabinet rejig includes some big names being dropped and some names have been inducted.

Details

Ahead of the massive cabinet reshuffle, as many as 12 high profile ministers submitted their resignation. These names included Ravi Shankar Prasad, who before his resignation, was in a tussle with Twitter regarding the non-compliance of IT Rules 2021.

Goodbye Harsh Vardhan, Hello Mansukh Mandaviya

Further, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, who served as the Union Health Minister also resigned. His resignation could mean that the PM Modi government wants to tell the nation that its taking proactive measures after the pandemic was debatably mishandled. Education Minister Ramesh Nishank and Labour Minister Santosh Gangwar also submitted their resignation

After the rejig, Dharmendra Pradhan will serve as the new Education Minister. Prior to his gig in the Education department, he served as Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Minister of Steel. Meanwhile, Mansukh L. Mandaviya will serve as the Union Health Minister.
