Marriage 2.0 For Parkash Raj – Pony

Bollywood and Tollywood actor Prakash Raj – known by entire nation for his films such as Singham, Wanted, Iruvar, and more – has been married to choreographer Pony Verma. The couple tied their wedding knot in 2010 and have since shared a blissful married life – as seen on the actor’s social media profile.

Recently the actor made the buzz by sharing the pictures of his “second marriage”. It was the special occasion of his 11th wedding anniversary with his wife Pony Verma. On August 24, the couple remarried as it was the special demand of their son Vedhant. Apparently, the little boy wanted to see his parents get married again.

Couple Exchanges Rings and Kisses

Rarely one gets the chance to exchange vows, and marry again with the same person – that too in the presence of his children. Prakash and Pony happily accepted their son’s quirky request and got married again. Along with Vedanth, Meghana and Pooja, Prakash’s’ daughters from his first marriage, too took the part in the celebration.

“We got married again tonight..because our son #vedhant wanted to witness it. Family moments #bliss”, the National Film Award winning actor wrote in one of his tweets.

In the tweet, he also shared the pictures of him exchanging rings with his wife and sharing a kiss with her as their children enjoyed the celebration.

Throwback Image of Prakash & Pony’s Marriage

Earlier the same day, the actor shared a throwback picture of him and his wife, which seemed to have been taken during the couple’s marriage 11 years ago. The couple in the picture looks madly in love, looking into each other’s eyes, wearing the classic Indian wedding outfits.

Along with the picture, Prakash wrote, “It turned out so right.. for strangers in the night” .. thank you my darling wife .. for being a wonderful friend.. a lover and a great co traveller in our life together. #happyweddinganniversary @PonyPrakashraj.”

Prakash Raj Accident Scare

Earlier this year, the actor gave his fans a scare as he suffered from a fracture following an accident. After being immediately rushed to the hospital, the veteran actor underwent a surgery to repair his left shoulder.

But true to the spirit he’s known for, the actor soon shared a picture of him with a million dollar smile on his face and expressed gratitude towards the fans.
