Incident at Educational Institution in Khargone Draws Administrative Action

In a concerning development at the Government Eklavya Adarsh Awasiya Vidyalaya in Khargone, a workplace dispute between two staff members escalated into a physical confrontation on Friday morning. The incident, which occurred approximately 8 kilometers from the Khargone district headquarters, has resulted in both individuals being relieved of their duties pending further investigation.

According to local reports, Principal Praveen Dahiya and Librarian Madhurani were involved in an altercation that allegedly included physical contact and property damage. The confrontation was captured on video by other staff members present at the scene, with footage becoming public on Saturday afternoon.

Administrative Response and Investigation

Khargone District Collector Bhavya Mittal took immediate notice of the situation after the video began circulating on social media platforms. Acting swiftly, the Collector directed Assistant Commissioner of the Tribal Development Department, Prashant Arya, to investigate the matter and take appropriate action.

“Maintaining the dignity of the educational institution is our priority,” stated Assistant Commissioner Arya. “Preliminary findings suggest the dispute originated from work-related matters. We are conducting a thorough investigation and have reported the incident to the senior administrative office in Delhi.”

As Eklavya Adarsh Awasiya Vidyalaya falls under central administration from Delhi, a detailed report is being prepared for review by higher authorities.

Immediate Administrative Action

Following the incident, both staff members have been temporarily removed from their positions at the educational institution. They have been reassigned to the office of the Assistant Commissioner of the Tribal Development Department while the investigation continues.

Legal and Medical Developments

Both individuals involved in the incident separately visited the Mengaon police station to file formal complaints against each other. Following standard procedure, they were referred to the district hospital for medical examination.

Reports indicate that Principal Dahiya was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), while Librarian Madhurani was placed in a general ward for medical observation.
