On Sunday, Punjabi singer and congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead, a shocking incident that comes just a day after security was withdrawn of 424 people by Punjab police including the Punjabi singer. Sidhu was 28 when he was killed.

Singla was earlier in the news for being sacked by CM Bhagwat Mann over corruption charges, a move that was lauded by AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal.
Earlier last month, Sidhu had stirred controversy by calling out AAP supporters in his song ‘Scapegoat’. In the song, Sidhu Moose Wala had called the party and its supporters ‘gaddar’.

I demand strict action against those who leaked confidential list of people whose security was withdrawn by Govt of Punjab.
First, you withdrew security & then you make them vulnerable by leaking their names! pic.twitter.com/5UcuB9ugyq— Manjinder Singh Sirsa (@mssirsa) May 28, 2022
