In a video shared by Rahul on his Instagram handle, he is seen dancing with Disha on the song “Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna”. This was from the Mehendi ceremony.

Haldi and Chooda Ceremony

The Haldi and Chooda ceremony took place on Thursday. Disha Parmar could be seen wearing a yellow outfit, with turmeric smeared all over her. In a boomerang video shared by a fan club, she could be seen playing with rose petals. In one picture, the bride-to-be was showered with kisses by her girlfriends.

The Intimate Wedding Ceremony

After getting married in an intimate ceremony on Friday evening, continued the wedding festivities with a grand reception on Friday night. During the day ceremony, Disha opted for a bright red lehenga.

Outfit Saga: Every Look Was a Perfect Fit

The couple wore traditional attires designed by ace-duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla for the special occasion. However, for the reception, the newlywed Disha decided to add contemporary elements to her attire.

Disha chose a pre-draped silver saree from the label Dolly J Studio for her reception. She paired the shimmery number, adorned with bespoke sequinned patterns, with a backless strappy blouse that matched the drape.

As Rahul, he complemented his wife in a white brocade coat teamed with a black shirt and matching pants.

Close Friend Aly Goni And Jasmine Bhasin Accompanies the Couple

Rahul Vaidya’s good friend and co-contestant in Bigg Boss 14 Aly Goni was also present at the wedding to support the couple.

The Couple’s Honeymoon Plans

Speaking with a leading daily about their honeymoon plans, Rahul said that he and Disha are yet to zero in on a place, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic-induced restrictions.

“We haven’t decided on a place yet, because after the wedding we just want to relax for a week and not do anything.”

Further adding he said that-

“Also, I have some prior commitments to finish first post the wedding. That’s why we are not rushing into it. We will probably go for our honeymoon sometime later. However, when we do, we will go to some place in Europe, say Switzerland or Austria.”
