In Raipur, a 14-year-old boy was held for raping and then strangling a 8-year-old minor girl to death. According to reports, minor accused was addicted to porn, which is being looked as the primary cause of his heinous actions. Further, the minor boy’s father himself was put behind bars in another rape case, TOI reported.
According to reports, the incident was reported from Saddu area of Chhattisgarh’s Raipur city. The matter came to the fore after the victim went missing a week ago and a complaint was filed regarding the matter. Earlier on Tuesday this week, the cops found the victim’s body covered with cloth and thermocol.
As it was a blind case, Raipur SSP Prashant Agrawal formed a 8-member team, led by an additional SP, to nab the accused. On Thursday, the cops arrested a 14-year-old boy, who reportedly had been “eyeing the victim for long”. The accused was arrested on the basis of a CCTV footage which put him at the crime scene with the victim.
During sustained interrogation, the accused confessed to raping the girl and then strangling her to death. He then pushed the body behind some bushes, and then covered her with thermocol. The juvenile’s father has served three years in jail in another rape case, and had been released a month ago.
The Facts of the Matter
In a gruesome incident of sexual abuse against minor, and its tragic aftermath, a 14-year-old boy allegedly raped and strangled an 8-year-old girl to death. As per reports, the 14-year-old minor accused was addicted to porn, and forced himself on the minor victim. When she resisted, the boy got infuriated, and proceeded to strangle her to death.
The incident was reported from Chhattisgarh’s Raipur district and occurred earlier last week.

Victim Missing, Dead Body Found
The matter came to the fore after the victim had been missing for a week and a complaint was registered regarding the same. Earlier on Tuesday this week, the cops discovered the victim’s body. The victim’s body was covered in thermocol and cloth.
An investigation was soon launched in the case after the postmortem confirmed rape and murder. The Raipur SSP, Prashant Agrawal, formed an eight-person team to nab the accused. After analyzing technical evidences, the cops zeroed down on a 14-year-old boy, who was the neighbour of the victim.

CCTV Footage Analyzed
In one of the CCTV footages, the cops saw the accused boy and the victim walking together towards the place where the victim’s body was found. The minor was arrested, and later confessed to have committed the crime.
During interrogation, the boy said that he strangled the 8-year-old girl to death, and then to hide her body, pushed it behind bushes. The minor had befriended the girl earlier this month, and on December 7, asked her to come with him to pluck vegetables in the area.
Accused Booked After Confession
When the duo was out, the accused forced himself on the girl, and when met with resistance, he raped the girl, and strangled her. The accused told the cops that he murdered the girls to avoid getting caught. The minor has been booked under multiple sections of the IPC, and POCSO Act.

Father was Accused of Raping, Served in Jail for 3 Years
It should be noted that the accused’s father was also behind the bars for as many as three years in another rape case. He had been released recently after being put in jail for raping his own daughter, and the minor accused’s sister.
