In Rajasthan, a 17-year-old teen shot himself dead after his girlfriend got married to another man, with a CCTV capturing the video of the horrific last moments of the deceased teen. The incident was reported from Bhilwara district, and occurred earlier on Thursday night. The deceased teen was identified as Yash Vyas, as per Circle Officer (Bhilwara city) Narendra Dayma. As per reports, the 17-year-old and the girl in question were students of the same school.

The shocking video of the incident shows Yash walking on a road inside the premises of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital. Yash appears to be walking in dejection and after taking a few steps, can be seen fishing something out of his pocket. Soon, it all comes to a tragic halt when Yash point something on his head, and collapses on the road the next moment.

According to reports, passersby rushed after seeing Yash collapsed on the road. He was first rushed to a nearby hospital. From there, he was referred to Udaipur for further treatment, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.

Reportedly, before taking the grave step, Yash took to his social media accounts and shared his feelings on being upset over the girlfriend’s marriage to another man.

Earlier in April, a triple murder case shook Patna, where a man first shot his ex-wife and daughter, and then shot himself dead.

Background

As per National Crime Records Bureau’s report from 2021 called Accidental Deaths and Suicides in India, minors and teens who died by suicide due to love related disputes increased from 1,337 such cases in 2020, to close to 1,500 such cases (1,495). This was an overall increase of 11.81% in such cases.

Shockingly enough, the number came at a time when the number of suicides among minors and teens showed a slight decline from 11,396 back in 2020 to 10,732 (a 5.82% decline).

Love affairs ending in disappointment can hurt anyone – from a thirty something person experienced in the way of life, to a teen who can’t look past the relationship getting sour. In such situations, some try to move on and make the best of their lives, while others succumbed to their emotional side, and often take a grave step.

In one such situation reported from Rajasthan’s Bhilwara, a 17-year-old teen shot himself dead inside the premises of a medical college. As per reports, the boy took the grave step after his girlfriend got married to another man.

The boy’s shocking actions were caught on camera, visuals of which are making rounds of social media.

What Does the Video Show? (Discretion Advised)

The video of the incident shows the deceased, identified as Yash Vyas, walking inside the premises of Bhilwara’s Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, with his back turned to the CCTV.

Vyas’s gait is such that he appears to be dejected and agitated. As Yash takes a few more steps, he can be seen fishing out for something and pulls out an object. Everything comes to a startling end, as Vyas points the object he pulled out from his pocket, and then collapses on the ground.

Deceased Took to Social Media

As per Circle Officer (Bhilwara city) Narendra Dayma, Yash was rushed to a nearby hospital, from where he was referred to Udaipur where he succumbed to his injuries. Dayma also said that prior to taking the grave step, Yash had taken to his social media, and had expressed his feelings regarding the marriage of his girlfriend to another man.
