Haryana’s well-known local language singer, Raju Punjabi, passed away on Tuesday at a private hospital in Hisar at the age of 40. According to several local media reports, Raju was admitted to the hospital about 10 days prior due to a mysterious illness that required him to be put on a ventilator as his health severely worsened. He briefly returned home after showing signs of improvement but was quickly readmitted to the hospital when his health took a turn for the worse.

Raju Punjabi’s popular hits included Desi Desi, Aacha Lage Se, and Tu Cheez Lajawab. His most recent song, ‘Aapse Milke Yaara Humko Accha Laga Tha’, was launched on August 12.

Music artist KD Desi Rock posted a hospital bed photo of Punjabi, expressing his deep sympathies for the singer.

The late singer launched his final song, “Aapse Milke Yaara Humko Accha Laga Tha,” on August 12. He is renowned for hits such as “Desi Desi,” “Aacha Lage Se,” “Tu Cheez Lajawab,” “Bhang Mere Yaara Ne,” and “Last Peg,” among others. His work with artist Sapna Choudhary has garnered appreciation from fans of all ages.
