Rakhi Sawant confirmed that her mother had passed away, explaining that it was a multi organ failure which had caused her critical condition. She stated that the cancer had spread to her kidneys and lungs, and began to weep uncontrollably.
In April 2021, Rakhi’s mother had a surgical procedure to take out a malignant tumor from her gallbladder. At that time, Rakhi posted a video in which her mother expressed her appreciation for Salman Khan for financing her medical care.
