The opening look of Rakulpreet’s next film Chhatriwali has been unveiled. The social family drama ‘Chhatriwali,’ portraying Rakul in a never-seen-before avatar, just went on sets in Lucknow.
Rakul Preet Singh told a media house about the movie: “It’s a fascinating and challenging topic, and I’m looking forward to embarking on my character’s journey. It’s critical to raise awareness of some topics in a playful manner, and this has piqued my interest.”

A jobless chemistry graduate girl in small-town Karnal becomes a condom tester out of desperation, a secret she must keep hidden from everyone. Sumeet Vyas, Satish Kaushik, Rajesh Tailang, Prachee Shah, Riva Arora, and Dolly Ahluwalia appear in the movie, which is directed by Tejas Deoskar and presented by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP.
“Our movie is a social family drama that strives to de-stigmatize the usage of condoms, and we are very pleased that the movie has gone on floors”, film director Tejas said. Rakul provides a blow of new air to every character she does, and with such a deep, thought-provoking matter as this, the viewers will undoubtedly experience a comedic roller coaster, he added.
