In a testament of human spirit, Tollywood film megastar Rana Daggubati recently spilled beans on being diagnosed with heart complications and kidney failure. Daggubati is one of the most prestigious names of the Bollywood industry, as well as the southern one. He is a multi-faceted actor, who has captured the hearts of the viewers with wonderful roles in films like ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Ghazi.’
Daggubati, who comes from a family of movie makers and storytellers, also runs the activities of one of India’s largest production houses, Suresh Productions. Rana Daggubati is a meticulous entrepreneur and businessman, with corporate interests that are broadly distributed in the television and film industry, while he is not busy shooting.
Well, he is an actor, a writer, a host, and a YouTuber.
Talking about his recent health issue, he had admitted that he suffered from heart calcification, failed kidneys, and BP problems and was seriously ill in 2019. The actor Rana Daggubati, from Baahubali, ended his silence in the face of serious problems of well-being.

He spoke about how he dealt with serious health problems. Rana Daggubati said that his movies taught him to conquer challenges and to “rise as a hero.” Lately, Actor Rana Daggubati started up telling how he dealt with heart problems and kidney disease while filming Haathi Mere Saathi for his upcoming film. He reveals how the movie played an important part in his recovery.
Rana spoke about the rebound from his health problems in an interview with The Indian Express. According to him, his movies have taught him to conquer difficulties and rise as a hero. He is pleased and grateful to have sir Prabu (Solomon, director of Haathi Mere Saathi), who has waited enough time for him to recover. The forest has also been a major part of his recovery, he said. The actor idolizes Bandev and claims that social media gossip should look up to people like him. But it was not a piece of cake for the actor to become a Bandev.
Rana shared some insightful perspective about nature during a meeting at the launch of the Aranya film trailer. He remembered the time he suffered three years earlier from certain health problems. He added that Prabhu brought him into the wild, and the elephant showed him a different side of life. He said it naturally protects us if we protect nature.
He said, “Aranya film changed him entirely”.
Last year, on Samantha’s reality talk show called Sam Jam, Rana Daggubati appeared. His way was nice and pleasant to connect with Samantha along with director Nag Ashwin. During the episode, when he spoke about his well-being Rana was moved to tears.
Rana grew emotional as he spoke about his condition’s seriousness. He explained that suddenly there was a stop button when life was fast forward. There was BP, the heart was calcified, and the kidney failed. He said that there might have been a 70% risk of hemorrhage or stroke and a 30% chance of death.
