Thanks to a statement made by Ranbir Kapoor, the rumor mill made around the couple will now finally stop. In a chat with the Bollywood journalist Rajeev Masand, Ranbir Kapoor seems to have made a confirmation on his and his partner Alia Bhatt’s marriage. The actor said that had it not been the pandemic hit their lives, he would have ticked the ‘marriage goal’ by now. Now how is that for a grand gesture of commitment and confirmation!
It was in an interview with Rajeev Masand that the Bolly actor spilled beans about how his lockdown went, what’s his relationship status with Alia and how the couple stayed together during the distressing phase of the pandemic brought with it.
During the interview, Ranbir said that he spent the lockdown reading books and watching content on web. Furthermore he also went on to mention how his ‘girlfriend Alia is an overachiever’. He said how Alia kept her busy during the lockdown by enrolling herself in several activities. According to Ranbeer, Alia took screenwriting and guitar classes during lockdown. Ranbir went on to say that comparing her lockdown activities to his, he feels like an ‘underachiever’ compared to her.
Rajeev Masand then went on to ask Ranbir about his marriage plans to which Ranbir gave a reply that he doesn’t want to jinx it by saying anything but he wants to tick mark that goal very soon in his life. Now that’s a reply that is sure to break the heart of the millions of fans who has a special affection for the actor.
