The Gully Boy actor will work with Bear Grylls, a British explorer, writer, and television presenter, on a new non-fiction program for the online platform He’ll be filming in Siberia during July and August, and he’ll also be performing some dangerous feats. Ranveer Singh’s big-budget adventurous series is expected to be funded by Netflix and will be available on the OTT giant.

Discovery’s Survivalist Has Extensive Conversation with Netflix

As per a tabloid, Bear Grylls was researching on this idea, and after extensive conversation with Netflix, they turned to Ranveer Singh and deemed him to be a perfect candidate for the structure of the series. It will be Netflix’s largest project in the globe and all three sides had agreed on it after numerous conversations. The show’s preparations have begun.

“Only Ranveer can pull of what Bear has in store”: Sources

According to a source close to the production-

“Ranveer, Bear, and Netflix have been in communication for quite some time now, and everything has officially come into place. It’s a big-budget show that will be the largest drop for Netflix all across the world. Only Ranveer Singh can pull off what Bear has planned for the show. The preparations have already started, and the filmmakers intend to film it this year. It will be a global program and one of the largest non-fiction shows ever produced in India.”

Shooting to take place in Siberia in 2 Months

They concluded by saying-

“The actor is scheduled to begin shooting in Siberia within the next 2 months. Around this time of year, the terrain is quite challenging, and Ranveer will need to prepare thoroughly to live under harsh weather conditions.”

For the very first time, Ranveer will be shown doing something exhilarating and risky, and it may be India’s largest non-fiction show.

Meanwhile, Deepika’s New Projects

In the theatre world, according to reports, Singh’s wife and actress Deepika Padukone will appear in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus, which stars Singh and Varun Sharma in a double character with Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez as the female leads. The story focuses on Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors, although it takes place in the 1960s.

The film’s production is currently in full gear in Mumbai, with the filmmakers hoping to complete it by the end of next month.
