‘Jugaadu Kamlesh’,Peyush Bansal’s protégé from Shark Tank India has been making the buzz after the Lenskart founder shared his recent innovation. Kamlesh, the budding innovator turned entrepreneur, had garnered appreciation in the first season of Shark Tank India thanks to his go-getter attitude and humble personality. His comradery with Peyush Bansal was especially heartwarming, and now, it appears that he has come up with his final product.
In the first season of the show, Kamlesh displayed a pesticide spraying machine he had developed over a period of over five years. Bansal had offered Kamlesh Rs 10 lakhs for 40% equity with an interest-free loan of Rs 20 lakhs.
In a recent video shared by Peyush on Instagram, Kamlesh can be seen displaying his finished final prototype of the invention. “Not everyone is as priviliged as some of us are, but they do have potential… and some times all they need is a little nudge to realise their dreams,” the post’s caption read.
Taking to LinkedIn, Peyush wrote – “Our first go-to-market version is ready and we are calling it Bharat-K2 (to signify the 2nd version as original was what was prestented in the tank). We are hitting production with this version and first batch of saleable cart will be on ground within 60 days.”
The Facts of the Matter
Shark Tank India has been behind the success stories of several startups and its founders across the nation. The judges of the show, Anupam Mittal, Peyush Bansal, Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, and Vineeta Singh, ex-judge Ashneer Grover, had triggered a new wave of entrepreneurs in India, who used their innovation and business acumen to come up with new inventions, and solutions to different problems.

Journey of Jugaadu Kamlesh
One such innovator was Jugaadu Kamlesh. Kamlesh appeared in the first season of the show and displayed his pesticide spraying innovation that was meant to help farmers across the country who have to carry heavy tanks on their backs. It had taken seven years for Kamlesh to develop the prototype of his innovation.
One year after securing an investment and mentorship deal from Lenskart founder Peyush Bansal, Kamlesh is ready to launch the final finished product. The announcement was made by Bansal on his Instagram.

In a video shared by Bansal, Kamlesh explains that he is excited to display the final product and see Peyush’s reaction. Peyush enters the frame and excitedly takes in the final product, cheekily asking whether there would be more versions of the product or this is the final one.
As the video progresses, Kamlesh explains that based on the feedback he received, he made the device lighter, and more portable for different kinds of farms. Peyush continues to ask more question and Kamlesh excitedly asks them all.

Go-To-Market Version Ready!
Bansal also took to LinkedIn to give more details about Kamlesh’s innovation and announced that the product is ready to be sold within sixty-days.

“Last 1 year, post shark tank season 1, one question I have been asked most is…’Peyush, what is happening with Kamlesh?’ And every time I smiled at them 🙂 and stayed 🤫 Reason being …the expectations and attention on this were so high, that I wanted to ensure we (including Kamlesh) stay focused and deliver something and not get caught into all the media attention…. And honestly this is not my expertise, so I also wanted to stay focused as I was worried if I will even be able to add any value here …,” Peyush explained.
