Meet Roma Abdesselam, a professional ‘stay-at-home daughter’ who claims that spending Rs. 40 lakhs a day is like a ‘full time job’. The TikTok influencer recently sent her followers into a bit of a tizzy after sharing a video that showed the amount of money she spends in just a day.

In one of the videos, she is seen spending over $50,000 (almost Rs. 40 lakhs), on luxury items from Gucci, Dior, Chanel and Prada. A New Yorker through and through, the 26-year-old TikToker was recently quoted in a media report saying, “I’ve turned spending [my parents’] money as a stay-at-home daughter into a job, and that’s been very, very fun for me.”

With over 6,29,000 followers, Roma is a “stay at home” individual, a term that influential netizen often use when they don’t prefer saying that they are unemployed. Although prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, she did plan to launch her own skincare business, she still hasn’t come around to that.

What she has been doing though, is spending the yearly budget of a small city in a few days by getting expensive dresses from Louis Vuitton, handbags from Haute, expensive dinners at Cipriani, and of course, going to Saint Tropez and Mykonos when she wants to “take a break”.

If this is not ‘Waah life ho toh aisi!’, we don’t know what is.

Spending Lakhs on Gucci, Dior, Chanel

While most of us would take the Rs 40 lakhs and invest a chunk of it in safe instruments, and spend it on essential needs such as home and more, Roma has a different approach. She went on a shopping spree where she picked up stuff from the most luxurious brands including, Gucci, Dior, Chanel and Prada.
