Actor Ronit Roy, whose security agency Ace Security provides bodyguards for celebrities, said that he lost many clients due to the Covid-19 pandemic. He thanked and added that only actors Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar supported him amid. He also elaborated about the times where he felt like shutting his firm down but still kept his employees on payroll and raised funds.
Pandemic and It’s Affect on Ronit’s Business
Ronit said that the Covid-19 pandemic affected him ‘a lot’. Elaborating the situation he said that-
“Post lockdown in March 2020, I decided to shut down my security agency. My wife Neelam and I sat down and realised that there was a lot happening; some worker’s wife was pregnant, someone’s mother was unwell. I decided to keep them on the roster. As for my clients, the so-called stars, they went away.”

Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan as the Support Pillars for Ronit
On the work front, Ronit said that when everything was shut down due to Covid-19 and he has lost his clients at that time only Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar stood by his side and helped him amid the pandemic. He said that he’ll forever be grateful to them.
Recruiting Back the Employees
When the work resumed and things started to get back to normal, Ronit said that he asked his 110 employees to return to their duties, but 40 of them denied, saying that they did not want to come back from their hometowns.
He was upset because despite him taking care of their financial needs, they still denied. He has now changed the way his agency operates. He said that-
“I resumed the agency but in such a way that I have nobody on roster now; we have devised some way to pay the staff.”
Re-working with the Clients
When asked that if any of the clients he lost wanted to work with him once things opened up again and started working on normal pace, Ronit said-
“Those clients cannot be short on money. A few of them decided to approach and come back to me but I refused to work with them.”

Ronit’s Fame on the Work Front
Ronit has been a popular star on television and has gained a lot of fame while portraying the role of KD Pathak in the Adalat series. With shows such as Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi he rose in the daily soap industry. He also acted in films such as Udaan, Student of the Year, 2 States and Kaabil and has made an impact too.
