What Did the Court Say on Selmon Bhoi Game?

On September 7, the Bombay Civil Court granted an interim relief to Salman Khan and passed a temporary ban on the game. The court observed that the game featured “impressionistic resemblance” to the actor.

It further observed, “When the plaintiff has not given any consent for installing, preparing and running such game which is very similar to his identity and the case which was against him, certainly his right to privacy is being deprived and is also tarnishing his image.”

The bench of KM Jaiswal also passed a retainment towards Parody Studios, the makers of the game, from relaunching and recreating the game.

The order further prevents the makers of the game from making any further derogatory remarks against the actor.

The matter will now be heard on September 20, 2021.
