In an ongoing development, Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is reportedly detained by NCB after a rave party at a cruise ship was busted. The drug law-enforcement agency conducted a surprise raid on the Empress ship of Cordella Cruises. The police also seized drugs such as cocaine, MDMA, etc during the raid it conducted.

On Sunday night, it was reported that the raid was conducted where the son of a popular Bollywood celebrity was involved. On Sunday morning, it was revealed by various news publications that it is Aryan Khan who has found himself in the matter.


Bollywood and drug abuse have been two topics that have been spoken together as they have now become synonymous. Earlier last year, the aftermath of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death uncovered the grip of drugs on the entertainment industry. Since then, the special branches of police have conducted several raids where popular celebrities such as Rhea Chakraborty, Arman Kohli, etc. have been arrested.

On Sunday October 3, it was reported that son of arguably biggest Bollywood star has been detained by the NCB.

Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan is once again in news – though perhaps not for something he would’ve wanted to be for. According to several news reports, Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is being questioned by the in a rave party related case.

Involvement of the son of the biggest actor in a drug related matter is the biggest story to come from Bollywood after Raj Kundra adult film scandal.

Reportedly, the drug law-enforcement agency claimed that Aryan has been detained and is being interrogated. Further, his phone is also with the authorities and is being probed to ascertain any other information.

Sameer Wankhede, NCB Zonal Director was quoted in a report saying, “Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan is being questioned by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in its Ballard Estate office at south Mumbai. He was on a cruise ship where agency raided in the night and busted rave party.”

NCB’s Statement on Cruise Rave Party Raid

After the raid, the NCB revealed that several drugs such as ecstasy, cocaine, MDMA were recovered. Further, as many as 8 persons (6 men and 2 women) have already been apprehended.

“On the basis of specific information, the officials of NCB, Mumbai, conducted a raid on the Cordelia cruise that was bound from Mumbai to Goa on October 2. During the operation, all suspects, as per the information, were searched and various drugs like MDMA/ecstasy, cocaine, MD (mephedrone) and charas were recovered,” the statement by NCB read.

The statement further read, “A total of 8 persons, including 2 females, have been apprehended and their role being investigated in relation to the said recovery. NCB has registered crime no. Cr 94/21 in this matter. Further investigation is underway.”

How Did NCB Bust the Cruise Rave Party?

According to reports, the NCB officials received tip off for a cruise leaving for a 3-day voyage with people using banned drugs. The tip-off also stated that the cruise ship had high-value people from Bollywood, music and fashion industry.

The police acted on the tip-off and soon NCB Zonal Director Sammer Wankhede formulated a plan. The team, which was devised to carry the raid boarded the cruise as passengers. After leaving Mumbai coast, the police witnessed the raid party begin and swung into action.
