Recently, Shark Tank India’s Aman Gupta made a bomb-shell revelation that his wife reportedly grills him for his bad investments on the reality show, something Anupam Mittal also has agreed on. Before you get the horses in your imagination run amok, let us tell you that Aman Gupta’s statement was made during The Kapil Sharma Show, when the show’s entire panel of ‘sharks’ had come for the show’s promotion. The hilarious candid remark by the Shark Tank India judges came in one of the ‘uncensored’ videos from the show.
The promotional episode featured the show’s other judges aka sharks including BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover, Lenskart co-founder Peyush Bansal, Emcure Pharmaceuticals CEO Namita Thakur, Sugar Cosmetics founder Vineeta Sharma, and MamaEarth co-founder Ghazal Alagh.
The Facts of the Matter
Although break-through reality TV show Shark Tank India has concluded, the fans still can’t have enough of the show and all aspects regarding it. Based on its American counterpart, Shark Tank India features a slew of investors, or sharks, who listen to pitches by budding entrepreneurs in the country. If an entrepreneur or a business catches the fancy of the sharks, they offer investment in the company in exchange for equity or royalty or in some cases – both.

Recently an ‘uncensored’ video from the shark’s time at The Kapil Sharma Show recently surfaced where they were seen showing their humorous sides. He asks them whether it’s their own money they invest or whether it’s the channel’s money that is invested in the ventures of entrepreneurs.
“Isme Kharach Diye”: Aman Gupta on What his Wife Complains
To this, boAT co-founder Aman Gupta said that his wife grills him every night for a bad investment he may have made in the show. “Shaam ko, agar koi galat deal ho jaaye, toh meri wife aake mere se poochti hai, ‘Yeh koi cheez hai khareedne wali? Isme kharch diye tumne? Main yeh bag khareed leti, main woh shopping kar leti. Yeh company mein paise daalne ki kya zaroorat thi? (If my wife doesn’t like one of my investments, she comes to me in evening and asks me ‘is this a thing to buy? I should’ve bought a bag instead. What was the point of investing here?’)”, he said.

At this point Anupam Mittal, who’s already one of the favourite sharks for Shark Tank India fans, made a hilarious remark. Mittal jumped into the conversation and joked how host Kapil Sharma exposed their lie. “Aapne poll khulwa di aaj. Hum toh ghar pe bolke aaye the Sony paise deta hai. Badi maar padne wali hai (You’ve exposed our lie. We have all lied at hour homes that it was Sony who invests in the companies. We will be in deep trouble now)”, Mittal said laughingly.
Kapil Sharma Pitches His Idea, Sharks Have One Condition
Kapil gracefully ended the conversation with another cracker joke. In one scoop, he poked fun at Sony TV and involved all the sharks in the joke. Sharma told the Sharks that they should all join forces with him and set up a channel of their own. “Aap sab log ek diggaj baithe hain, hum sab milke ek channel na shuru kar lein? (All of you are giants in industry, we should all open our own channel)”, Kapil remarked.
Impressed by Sharma’s sense of quick-withhumour, the Sharks laughed and said that they would start a new channel if Kapil will do a show for them. They added that it will be an “all-shark” deal.
