In a hilarious turn of events, reality show Shark Tank judges Aman Gupta and Anupam Mittal recently gathered around and checked out Ashneer Grover’s infamous ‘10 crore table’. The table was part of a lot of buzz earlier last month when some BharatPe employee alleged that the company’s former MD and co-founder Ashneer Grover owned a dining table that was worth around Rs. 10 crore.
Later, Grover had himself taken to Twitter and refuted the allegations hurled on him. Claiming that the dining table costed less than 0.5% of the alleged amount and had further added that he would rather invest that amount in creating a business that would give jobs to people.
Meanwhile, the Shark Tank judge trio – Anupam Mittal, Ashneer Grover and Aman Gupta recently gathered at Grover’s place and pictures of the meet-up are going viral. Meanwhile, Grover also shared a hilarious meme which made a reference to the dining table controversy and captioned the meme with -“Thanks @boatxaman and @agmittal for a fun Saturday night. It’s amazing how smoothly we pick up from where we left ! @sharktank.india”.
The Facts of the Matter
Ever since the first season of Shark Tank India concluded, its judge Ashneer Grover’s life has been quite eventful, for the lack of a better word. During the show’s run, he was reported to have taken a “voluntary leave”. After the show’s end, his wife was sacked from the company Grover himself founded – BharatPe – on financial irregularity allegations. And later, Grover quit as the company’s MD.

The Ashneer Grover Saga So Far
Many thought that his resignation from BharatPe would silence all the buzz that was created. However, both BharatPe board, and Grover, hurled accusations against each other. While BharatPe board spoke to various media outlets and shared their own take on how Grover used to function as an MD, Grover chose to speak in public, tweeting or otherwise, speaking in interview.

The 10 Crore Dining Table Controversy
Recently, the 40-something entrepreneur took to Instagram and shared a hilarious meme that was in response to a controversy that brewed a few weeks back. Earlier news outlet Bloomberg ran with a report where it quoted several formal employees of BharatPe who alleged that Ashneer Grover owned a dining table worth Rs. 10 crore ($1,30,000).
Grover had back then refuted the allegations hurled at him and responded by claiming he would rather put the same money in a business to create more jobs.
Ashneer Grover Makes Cheeky Reference to Dining Table Controversy
Making a cheeky reference to the incident, Grover recently shared a meme on his Instagram where his co-judges from Shark Tank India – Anupam Mittal and Aman Gupta were seen inspecting the infamous dining table.
The meme was a collage where all the three judges stood around the table, looking at it with aww. In the first pic, the speech bubbles over Aman Gupta read – “Dekho Ashneer bhai 10crs ki table hai, 2 diamond toh nikalna chahiye”.
In the second picture, the speech bubble over Anupam Mittal read – “Theek se check kar, neeche se check kar”.
The third picture had the Aman Gupta speech bubble reading – “Kuch nahimila, Yeh sab doglapanhai”, making na obvious reference to a statement said by Grover during one of the Shark Tank India episodes.
The final picture had Aman Gupta from Boat Lifestyle saying – “Koi nahi. Hum banalenge”.
