Popular Indian singer Lucky Ali recently claimed that his farm based in Bengaluru was encroached by ‘land mafia’ with the help of an IAS officer, with the IAS officer denying the claim. The ‘O Sanam’ singer recently took to Facebook to share his plight and call the authorities’ attention to the issue he has been facing.
“My farm which is a Trust Property located in Kenchenahalli Yelahanka is being encroached on illegally by Sudhir Reddy (and Madhu Reddy) from the Bangalore Land Mafia. With the help of his wife who is an IAS Officer by the name of Rohini Sindhuri they are misusing state resources for their personal gain. They are forcibly & illegally coming inside my farm and refusing to show the relevant documents,” the 64-year-old actor wrote in his Facebook post.
He alleged that he has not received help from the local police, and further claimed that the local police are “fact supporting the encroachers and are indifferent to our situation and the legal status of our land”.
Meanwhile, IAS Officer Rohini Sindhuri was quoted in an Indian Express report saying, “He is just trying to throw mud at me”, adding that she would sue Lucky Ali for defamation.

Popular Indian singer Lucky Ali has been making headlines by taking to social media, and alleging that he is being harassed by “land mafia” who are in cahoots with an IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri.
It all started earlier last week, when Ali took to Facebook, and shared a small update regarding the incident. “Dear everyone , blatant misuse of power by one influential lady IAS officer wife of one Sudhir Reddy a local builder who has used and is currently using the state police to subvert law and using force to steal Trust properties ..in contempt of courts in Bangalore ..,” his Facebook post read.
Lucky Ali Gives Detailed Account of Being Harassed
After Ali got support from many netizens who took to the comment section, he once again took to Facebook, and wrote a much more elaborate and detailed version of the harassment he has been facing.
In his post, Ali mentioned that he had written a letter to the DGP of Karnataka and shared its entire text with the netizens. Ali introduced himself as “Maqsood Mahmood Ali. Son of the Late Actor and Comedian Mehmood Ali. And also known as Lucky Ali”.

Land “Being Encroached ” by Land Mafia and Help of IAS Officer
Ali in his post mentioned that his farm is a trust property located in Kenchenahalli Yelahanka. He added that his farm is “being encroached on illegally by Sudhir Reddy (and Madhu Reddy) from the Bangalore Land Mafia. With the help of his wife who is an IAS Officer by the name of Rohini Sindhuri they are misusing state resources for their personal gain”.
He also added that the persons involved in the matter are “forcibly & illegally coming inside my farm and refusing to show the relevant documents.”
“Children, Family Alone in Farm”: Ali
“My family and small children are alone on the farm. I am getting no help from the local police, who are in fact supporting the encroachers and are indifferent to our situation and the legal status of our land,” the Na Tum Jano Na Hum singer further wrote.
IAS Officer Threatens to Sue Lucky Ali
Meanwhile, IAS officer Sindhuri spoke to Indian Express, stating that the land dispute has nothing to do with her, and added that she would sue Ali for defamation. She also added that Lucky Ali is “trying to throw mud” at her.
IAS officer Sindhuri’s brother-in-law, Madhusudan Reddy, said that he possesses all the required document to prove his ownership. “We have all documents to show our claim, including the sale deed, possession papers and other,” he told Indian Express.
