National Farmers’ Day, also known as, Kisan Diwas is celebrated on 23rd December every year in India on the birth anniversary of the fifth Prime Minister of India Chaudhary Charan Singh. The day highlights the value of farmers in the growth and development of the nation. 

On the occasion of Kisan Diwas, thousands of people took to social media to pay their tribute to farmers who are working hard to produce foods and feed the word.
