Alia Bhatt recently shared unseen pictures from her mehendi ceremony and even Wonder Woman Gal Gadot couldn’t stop herself from reacting. The 2 States actress recently took to Instagram and gave a glimpse to her followers of a lovely mehendi ceremony that took place at her Mumbai residence earlier last week. From the looks of it, the ceremony had a lot of colours, smiles and some latkas and jhatkas from both the bride and groom’s side.

Two days after she got married to her sweet heart Ranbir Kapoor, Alia took to Instagram and shared eight glimpses of the fun and happening ceremony. In one of the pictures, Ranbir can be seen grooving with his father Rishi Kapoor’s picture frame in his hands. In another picture, Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor and other members of groom squad can be seen putting up a fully filmy performance.

The incident brought smiles to the faces of several netizens and fans of both Alia and Ranbir. Incidentally, Alia’s ‘Heart of Stone’ co-actor Gal Gadot also took to the comments section and congratulated the actress.

Alia Bhatt took to Instagram and captioned the Mehendi ceremony album with – “The Mehendi was like something out of a dream. It was a day full of love, family, our beautiful best friends, a LOT of French fries, a surprise performance by the ladkewalas, Ayan playing DJ, a BIG surprise organised by Mr. Kapoor (my favourite artist performed my favourite songs), all followed by some happy tears and quiet, blissful moments with the love of my life. There are days… and then there are days like these.”

Neetu Kapoor’s Secret Performance, Ranbir Dances with Rishi Kapoor

Unlike her wedding, where Alia wore a cream-off-white ensemble, in Mehendi she wore a red lehenga while Ranbir twinned with a red kurta-pyjama. In one of the pictures, Ranbir can be seen dancing with a framed picture of his late father Rishi Kapoor.

In another picture, new mother-in-law can be seen putting up the surprise performance with the entire groom squad. A couple of pictures showed Alia and Ranbir entwined in a warm hug while other pictures showed Alia receiving hugs from her friends.

Netizens Erupt on Instagram, Gal Gadot Reacts

As one would expect, the pictures received a lot of love from Alia’s fans and influential Instagram users with a blue-tick mark beside their handle names. Incidentally, the picture also received reaction from the Wonder Woman Gal Gadot herself, who wrote Congratulations and added a heart emoji in her comments. For the unversed, Alia Bhatt and Gal Gadot will be seen sharing the screen together in Netflix film Heart of Stone.

Revisiting First Batch of Pictures from Alia-Ranbir Wedding

This was the second batch of pictures Alia Bhatt shared after her wedding with Ranbir Kapoor. Earlier on the day of, Alia took to Twitter and shared her wedding pictures. The celeb-duo reportedly got married in Kapoor’s residence and the venue was the balcony where the couple “spent the last 5 years” of their relationship.

Taking to Instagram, Bhatt captioned the picture with – “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married.
