Sonu Sood launches Travel Union, B2B travel technology portal for rural citizens. Sonu Sood’s Travel Union was formed in collaboration with Dilip Kumar Modi’s Spice Money. The Travel Union portal would assist travel agencies in fulfilling the needs of rural clients at the district, block, and gram panchayat divisions.

On Friday, Bollywood actor-turned-humanitarian Sonu Sood introduced Travel Union, a business-to-business travel technology portal for the rural population.

According to Sonu Sood, Travel Union may be an extended means of earnings for existing rural business owners as well as a stepping stone for prospective ones.

Travel Union will also offer services from railways, hotels, wholesalers, airlines, and aggregators, rendering it a super-integrator portal for rural populations’ transport needs. That will be a member-only portal without any cost to enroll.

According to the firm, the portal would provide connectivity to all trains running in India via IRCTC, over 500 domestic and international airlines, over 10,000 bus operators, and more than 10 lakh hotels to its affiliates and consumers.

Travel Union will introduce new roads of self-employment: Sonu Sood

At the launching event, Sonu Sood said-

“I was struck by the shortage of personalized services responding to the needs of Bharat and solving the digital demands of rural populace.”

In fact, rural users now do not have the alternative of pre-planning their journey and must rely on several operators for a variety of travel needs.

“I intended Travel Union to dismantle all hurdles to travel and create an entrepreneurial potential to everyone in the country who wants to pursue a career in the travel business,”

-he added.

“Travel Union strives to build a close network of travel agents as Travel Union Affiliates. And also, to introduce new roads of self-employment and self-reliance for individuals who join the system. Travel Union will make it relatively easy for rural travel agencies to meet all of their users travel demands and will connect them with the latest technology and great margins”

-he added.

“We obtain net rates (B2B rates) from all vendors and forward them along to the travel agent. There really is no extra charge on that”,

-as Dilip Modi said.

He added, Whatever we earn is refers to the quantity of business we create, which is termed as the Productive Link Bonus (PLB) at the end of each month, quarter, and year. There is no extra charge or service fee from our end or vendors at the purchase stage, so agents have the best pricing. However, they can levy a service fee depending on his association with the client.

Travel Union brand campaign “Khulenge Naye Raaste”

The portal has also debuted the first-ever brand campaign, ‘Khulenge Naye Raaste,’ starring Sood, which facilitates the app’s overall user experience. The brand trailer will be advertised on digital and social media sites and accompanied by registrations in travel agencies across India.

Travel Union will work on commission based business scheme

According to the firm-

“Travel Union members’ recruitment will need no investment from them, and there will be no continuing costs after on-boarding, cutting the barrier to entry.”

It also has the least IRCTC agent ID buying price.

Furthermore, after the successful transaction of the ID buying price, this amount is reimbursed over a span of time, keeping this ID functionally free. It also enables online canceling and returns, minimizing the need for users to wait for hours.

The portals’ business scheme is commission-based. The Spice Group’s 5 lakh retail associates will be utilized to support the portal.
