The untimely death of Mirzapur’s Lalit left and shocked and speechless recently. The Mirzapur fame actor Brahma Mishra was found dead at his apartment in Versova, Mumbai on the 2nd of December. His semi-decomposed body has been sent to Dr Cooper Hospital for autopsy.
The incident came to light when Mishra’s co-actor from the Prime Video Series, Divyenndu shared a post on his Instagram, confirming his death.
The Reason Behind the Sudden Demise
Brahma Mishra who turned 36 this year complained of chest pain on the 29th of November. However, he was sent home after a thorough check-up and medication.
On 2nd December, Mishra’s neighbours noticed a stench coming out of his apartment. Getting no response after repeated knocking, the neighbours waited for the cops to arrive. The cops arranged for a key-maker to open the lock of the apartment only to discover the actor lying beside the commode in his bathroom.
As of now, the reports claim that the actor died of a heart attack, however, a confirmation is yet to arrive.
Sandeep Mishra, the brother of the actor, who lives in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh has been informed about the unfortunate event. He has departed for Mumbai.

The news of Mishra’s sudden death has shocked the fans of this skilled actor. Upon its revelation through Divyenndu’s Insta post, people have expressed their grievances on this unfortunate event.
The last Instagram post of the actor is currently going viral, where he is seen performing on ”In Da Ghetto” with one of his friends. Fans are flooding the comment section with heavy hearts.
One wrote, ‘Rest in peace, while another one called the deceased soul a ‘legend’ as he commented, ‘Rip. Miss, you legend’.

His co-actors and colleagues from the industry have been mourning over the loss as well. Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Swara Bhasker, Rajkummar Rao, Randeep Hooda, Manoj Bajpayee, Shriya Pilgaonkar and other Bollywood actors have expressed their condolences via social media.
Actor Richa Chadha wrote, ‘This is the most heartbreaking thing … it’s too tragic. Condolences to family and friends. Brahma, gone way too soon’. ‘Rest in peace brother. Gone too soon,’ Rajkummar Rao wrote on his Instagram story.
Brahma Mishra’s Career Until Now
Apart from Prime Video’s epic series, Mirzapur, the actor has worked on countless other projects including, ‘Manjhi – The Mountain Man’, ‘Dangal’, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, ‘Hawaizaada’ and ‘Hello Charlie’.
However, his fame peaked as he aced the role of Lalit in Mirzapur. In the show, Mishra played the role of Lalit, the right hand of Munna Bhaiyaa played by Divyenndu. His character was killed in a conspiracy by Kaleen Bhaiya played by Pankaj Tripathi.
