In Tamil Nadu, 5 cops, who recently took part in beauty pageant that was also attended by Yashika Anand, were recently transferred for taking part in the competition. The incident was reported from a town Sembanarkovil in Mayiladuthurai district where a fashion agency called ‘Mayuraa’ held a fashion show.

The fashion show saw people from all walks of life – from youths to married adults to children – taking to the ramp. However, what made the entire event special, was when five cops from the Tamil Nadu police took to the ramp and walked on it on the song “Singham”.

As the beats thumped, Tamil Nadu cops – which included both males and females – walked on the ramp wearing the police uniform. The cops were identified as Ashwini, Nithyaseela, Renuka and Sivanesan. They were also joined by special assistant inspector Subramaniam, who was posted at Sembanarkovil Police Station.

What followed was action taken by the Tamil Nadu police. All five cops, including special assistant inspector Subramaniam, were transferred for taking part in the beauty pageant.

According to local reports, the police were insistent to take to the stage and their participation came after they were “forced” to walk the ramp.

Cops Take Part in Fashion Show

Like most beauty pageants, the show included youths taking to the ramp. Further, children and married individuals were also part of the pageant. However, it all turned really strange-really soon when five cops entered the pageant.

These cops did not attend the pageant to curb any illegal activities. They were walking the ramp as beauty pageant models themselves. What’s more is that they walked the stage on the beats of popular song ‘Singham’ from the movie of the same name.

Yashika Anand Attended Event

According to reports, the beauty contest was held earlier last week which was also attended by popular South Indian actor Yashika Anand. The fact that five cops also attended the pageant quickly went viral, and soon, the Tamil Nadu police took action against their actions.
